The black cartridge can produce up to 2,500 pages, the cyan can produce up to 1,755 pages, the magenta can produce up to 1,295 and the yellow up to 1,520 pages before you will need to replace them so they're ideal for office use.
The ink inside the cartridge is a pigment-based ink, this type of ink is designed to sit on the top of the page rather than sinking in like a dye ink. This means your prints will be sharper and brighter, which is great for printing text and presentations.
The PGI-2500XL ink cartridges are all sealed in individual packages so if you're not ready to use them all straight away you can store them for up to 6 months without their quality being affected.
