Containing over double the capacity of the standard cartridge, this black Epson 18XL has 11.5ml of ink, significantly reducing your printing costs in the long-run. This allows the cartridge to produce up to 470 pages of high quality black and white prints.
The 18XL ink cartridge is filled with Epson's Claria Home ink formula. The black ink is a pigment based ink; this is printed in tiny droplets so it can sink into the page. This makes the ink perfect for document printing as the print is protected inside the page making it last a long time. The three coloured 18 and 18XL inks are filled with a dye based ink; this sits on top of the page to provide bright colours. So these inks are the perfect printing combination to use at home for anything form photo prints to documents and school work.
The cartridge is wrapped and then sealed inside its packaging so if you don't need t use it straight away you can store it for up to 6 months without its quality or performance being affected.
